The Necessary
Tuesday is the day that certain site management jobs happen. The dumpster, as well as “the dumpster” get emptied.
End of the day Monday
After the pizza was eaten and more work done, the dumpster is full and here’s where we stand:
-
foundation -
E-side without overhangs -
no more overhangs -
south west view no overhangs -
hunk of overhang -
first full dumpster(s) -
the other “dumpster”
Pizza Monday
We made pizza on the grill for the guys today. Yum. …. and, while they guys weren’t eating pizza, the foundation wall was built and the roof overhangs on the east side were cut off. Yay.

Busy Day
The back porch overhang
Siding removal
Jim starts pulling the siding from the north side of the house, where the bump out will happen and also from the current roof overhangs. Much of this siding is 1″ thick, clear, aromatic, cedar.
Prepared for construction
Our oil fill pipes, air conditioner compressor and propane tank have all been removed from the north side of the house… we are ready for work to begin.
