The back porch overhang

The back porch roof has been removed. I guess we will no longer be sheltered from the sun or rain when using the little out door grill.

Siding removal

Jim starts pulling the siding from the north side of the house, where the bump out will happen and also from the current roof overhangs.  Much of this siding is 1″ thick, clear, aromatic, cedar.

Our oil fill pipes, air conditioner compressor and propane tank have all been removed from the north side of the house… we are ready for work to begin.
